An SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This role involves writing test scripts, creating robust test plans, identifying bugs early in the development lifecycle, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. SDETs work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to build scalable test automation solutions that support agile and continuous delivery practices. Strong programming skills, test automation expertise, and a deep understanding of software quality principles are essential.
